The result of the Primary Education Terminal Examination will be published simultaneously at 3:00pm 22-12-2009

Primary and Mass Education Minister Afsarul Amin will brief the newsmen at 3:00pm about the results at his secretariat office, says an official release.

The examination began on November 21 with the participation of over 18 lakh students of class five (V)

The government introduced the new public exam in place of primary scholarship examination with a view to imparting equal education to all students.

The students must pass the terminal exam to get enrolled in class VI. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of their results in two categories -- talent-pool and general-- half to boys and half to girls
